What Is FSI?
FSI is one of the most important aspects of the real estate industry. This is the floor space index sometimes called the floor area ratio (FAR). Refers to the greater area of a piece of land used for development. This development is coordinated by the National Building Code of India and the Development Control Regulatory Department of each region, which is generally based on the Building Code. What Impacts FSI?
Many factors can influence the potential floor space index of a building. These include the size of the flat, the type of building, the location of the flat, etc. The floor space index of a plot depends on the location. The floor space index is different than the floor area index. Floor space index value can change depending on the development requirement of the city and land value. Many areas like foundations, lifts, service areas, and corridors may or may not count towards the floor space index. Buying a property is a significant investment of money.
