– Shrimant Madhav Rao Scindia Heritage Fest inaugurated at Scindia Girls' School

The seventh Shrimant Madhav Rao Scindia Heritage Fest was inaugurated grandly in the school auditorium at Gwalior Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya. This year the theme of the festival is Gujarat Heritage. About 250 students from different schools participated in this program. In this, 15 schools including host school Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Birla Public School, Pilani, Delhi Public School, Pathankot, Heritage Girls School, Udaipur, Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls School, Jaipur, Mayo College Girls School, Ajmer, Rajkumar College, Rajkot, Rajmata Krishna respectively. Kumari Girls Public School, Jodhpur, Stepping Stones High School, Aurangabad, Sunbeam School, Lahartara, Sunbeam School, Mughalsarai, Sunbeam School, Varuna, Sanskar Valley School, Bhopal, Scindia School, Gwalior, Vidya Devi Jindal School, Hisar. The entire program was conducted under the chairmanship of school principal Mrs. Nishi Mishra.
In which Umang Hatisingh was present as the chief guest. Arvachin Garba dance was presented by 24 girl students of Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya in which the girl students praised Mother Goddess with lamps in their hands. After that, 12 girl students of the Blind School gave a grand presentation of Garba while worshiping the Mother Goddess. A representative from each school including the host team was invited on the stage for flag hoisting. The welcome speech was presented by school principal Mrs. Nishi Mishra. He congratulated the participants from various schools and thanked the principals of all the schools. The heritage brochure was released by the school principal, chief guest, jury, vice principal and event coordinator.
